At Equine Planet we use Photobiomodulation (PBM Therapy), formerly known as Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) as a drug free alternative for equines.

In conventional medicine we mostly use cold laser for:

• Muscoloskeletal disorders (incl. joints, ligaments, muscles, nerves and supporting skeletal structures)
• Inflammation and swelling
• Wound and tendon repair

However, as part of our Integrative Medicine Therapy we also use laser in a totally different way, namely for:

• Nerve stimulation 
• Acupuncture

This has proven to be particularly effective in the treatment of prolonged difficult to cure diseases and chronic conditions as well as useful whenever the horse is not comfortable with injections and needles during our acupuncture sessions.
