Vaccinations are an important tool in the prevention and spreading of transmissible diseases, next to hygiene and good yard management. A vaccination programme ensures that your horse receives maximum protection against infections that can cause serious (and sometimes fatal) diseases.

 

The most important vaccinations for all equines in this region are Influenza and Tetanus.

 

A growing number of equines, in particular competition horses, have shown clinical signs of EHV (Equine Herpes Virus) and should be vaccinated against this disease as well.

 

Following the increase of small outbreaks in our region in recent years, we also recommend to protect your horse against the West Nile Virus.
