With over 20 year of experience in Veterinary Medicine, we are extremely proud to share our medical knowledge and innovative solutions with other primary veterinary colleagues. Whether it is simply a second opinion on a difficult case or a complete referral of the patient, we are here to help to the best that we can.

In all referral situations we make sure that our clients’ primary care veterinarian will be kept fully informed on the animal’s diagnosis, prognosis and receives detailed after care instructions to ensure good case continuity. We also accept referrals for many emergency cases.

The typical referral calls we receive include:

• Dermatological problems (incl. Summer wounds)
• Dental work
• Metabolic and hormonal problems, such as EMS and PPID
• Orthopedic cases (e.g. Laminitis and Navicular disease)
• Chronic pulmonary problems
• Reproductive emergencies
• Surgeries

In those extreme circumstances where the animal cannot be given ambulatory care we will manage the referral to an Equine hospital.
